Description: “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.” On 23rd April, 2025 a special condolence assembly was conducted in our school to pay homage to His Holiness, the Pope Francis, who left for his heavenly abode on 21st April, 2025. The atmosphere was solemn and respectful as the school community came together to honour his life and legacy. The assembly began with a silent prayer, followed by a short prayer service led by the teaching staff seeking peace for his soul. A reflective narration of the Pope’s life was then presented, highlighting his journey from birth to becoming a spiritual leader of millions. His tireless work for peace, justice, and compassion was remembered with deep reverence. As a mark of respect, a floral tribute was offered by the sisters, teachers, children and supportive staff. This silent gesture symbolized the collective gratitude and admiration of the school community. The assembly concluded with a heartfelt speech by Sr. Martha, who spoke about the Pope’s unwavering faith, humility, and love for humanity. She encouraged everyone to carry forward his message of peace, kindness, and service in our daily lives. The assembly served as a moment of reflection and inspiration, reminding all present of the enduring impact of a life lived in service to others.
